Building Integrated Photovoltaics

An example of Building Integrated Photovoltaic panels

Built-in-photo-voltaic’s are an emerging building material. Typically based on flexible thin-film, they are a bespoke solution for roof spaces, allowing a roof membrane to be built with PV already installed.

This is a specialist product and is not the most efficient way to benefit from solar energy, but can be considered in projects where a new roof or re-roofing scheme is already required.

Spencer Solar can be commissioned as designers for projects of this nature, due to the engineering and building experience of The Spencer Group. Please visit the The Spencer Group for more details of our construction experience.
