Glazed thin-film
Glazed thin-film can be mounted like standard crystalline, but is smaller and lighter. It works far more efficiently in east-west light conditions and as low as a 10 degree pitch.
Please note, thin-film technology is less efficient, making the installation less commercially favourable than standard crystalline technology.
Flexible thin-film
The most flexible of all PV options, this technology offers a unique solution to roof spaces that have loading issues and cannot be penetrated. These panels are less efficient than crystalline but produce electricity for a longer period of the day.
Again, these products are less commercially attractive than standard crystalline technology, but can provide a solution where solar installation was previously not possible.
